Having tried 2 out of 4 of the main Caudalie masks, I can safely say that Caudalie masks are very, very good – check out my review of the Caudalie Glycolic Peel here – or at least 50% of them are, anyway…I also really like the fact that they’re designed to work with each other; as someone who quite happily uses several masks in one sitting, I’m inevitably going to love a range that is designed this way.
The Caudalie Purifying Mask is designed to help with blemishes and oiliness, but don’t misconstrue that to be a mask that will dry your skin out, as this lovely, creamy product is a non-drying formula (both product-wise – it doesn’t actually dry like clay does and skin-wise, it won’t dry your skin out) so it should be fine for most skin types if you’re suffering from a bit of a breakout.
I found this very effective at healing and soothing my skin when I was suffering from a few spots and I really enjoying using it; it’s gentle, effective and surprisingly light, plus it very much reminds me of the Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask which is one of my all-time favourite masks, so it’s a winner for me and one I’ll definitely keep in my regular-use stash. It’s £22 here – link.
