Okay this is a tad late considering we’re at the half-way point in September, but for the past couple of months I’ve had collections of products that I’ve wanted to rave about and didn’t manage to put a list together, so I’m indulging myself and going for it now, even though I suppose I should instead be thinking of the September list already!
I’ve broken it down into skincare makeup, starting the makeup bits I’m loving. Since my skin has drastically improved, I’m now able to wear lighter, dewier bases, and consequently I can deviate from powder formulas for things like blushers. The Smashbox LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colours are the most wonderfully creamy formulas that give a natural flush of colour to both lips and cheeks, although I’ve been using this mostly on my cheeks. If you follow my Instagram page, you’ll know how much this gets used as it’s appeared in pretty much every makeup post I’ve done since I got my hands on it! The shade I have is the Beverly Hills Blush which is the perfect, natural shade for me. Check out all five shades here – link. The Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder is one of those products that does what it promises, and does it very, very well. At £52 it isn’t the cheapest, but it gives the loveliest, shimmer-free sheen that really does illuminate to an impressive level and it’s virtually foolproof. Plus it can be used very sparingly and will likely last for ages, so it’s an investment piece and another one that shows up in most of my Instagram makeup shots. Here it is – link. Finally on makeup, the new Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen is a total star for achieving a quick, solid, natural line that stays all day. It’s very liquid, so my first few attempts were a little messier than I would’ve liked, but once I got the hang of it’s fluidity, the pen very quickly became the one I reached for most. It’s here – link.
Neither of my skincare mentions are going to be much of a surprise to anyone who reads my blog regularly! The DHC Resveratrol Cream is just so perfect for my skin, as it’s rich and deeply nourishing, yet it doesn’t clog pores, so if you have tricky, dehydrated skin then you need this in your life; find it here – link. Finally, my little superstar cleanser, the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser. There’s nothing I can say here that I haven’t already mentioned in my previous raves, but this is a truly phenomenal product so it’s no surprise that it’s sold out here – link!

Nice review and sum-up, I have loads of products to use up at the moment but will keep my eye on the Pixi Glow Mud cleanser and DHC Resveratol cream for future purchases! x
