I haven’t really paid much attention to eye treatments recently, since I’ve been quite happy to use any residue from my moisturiser as an eye cream, something you’re apparently not supposed to do due to the heaviness of face creams, but I haven’t encountered any issues, so I’ve been rebelling! When Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream arrived, I thought my tube was broken as I couldn’t get any product out. It turns out, you need to push the dome-shaped top upwards to reveal a space for the cream to exit from, which is a great way of ensuring that the product doesn’t escape if the tube gets squashed during travel.
The Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream pretty much does exactly as you’d expect from the name; it’s an all-in-one treatment that hydrates, lifts, brightens and smooths making it absolutely perfect for under make-up. You use the dome head to apply the product and gently massage it in, then if there’s any residue, you can tap the rest in with your fingers. I’ve found it particularly brilliant on days when I haven’t had the best night of sleep as I’m prone to puffiness on these days, and the combination of the cooling eye cream and round applicator means you can press out any puffiness and make a very noticeable difference in record time. My under-eye area is pretty much the only bit of my face that doesn’t need a lot of maintenance (I think it’s to make up for the excessive maintenance needed on the rest of my face…) so I don’t need a lot of help with any major issues, and consequently I wouldn’t use Skin Pep every day – just on days when I’m going for a heavier make-up look and need a good base for the product to cling to, or I’m knackered – but if you have bags, circles and puffiness on a regular basis the Skin Pep would be a great investment as it works so well and so quickly, it’s one of those products that really does deliver. It’s £22 here – link.

This sounds like a great product! I’ve always struggled finding eye creams that really work for me, but Clinique skincare tends to work very well with my skin (I love their dramatically different moisturiser!) so I’ll definitely have to give this a go! Sounds great and thanks for sharing xx
