Another phenomenally exciting tarte QVC TSV for you – how great are TSVs in general lately?! I find them so exciting! My love for tarte is extremely well documented on here, and I especially love their gorgeous little sets, with a great example of this being the Smart Skin Skinvigorating Colour Collection that’ll launch as a tarte QVC TSV this coming Saturdaya. It’s an eight piece set containing all full-sized items, two of which are brushes and one of which is a brilliant make-up bag. The great thing about tarte TSVs is that they’re always a full look in a bag and you end up with all the main bits you need to create a gorgeous finish.
The tarte Smart Skin Skinvigorating Colour Collection includes the extremely popular Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation which is a brilliant base product, especially for anyone who benefits from a lot of coverage. There are six shades of the foundation available in the QVC TSV, which I’m presuming are the six shades we have available at the UK QVC (there are actually loads more, but we get an edited selection) so these will likely be Fair, Light, Light Medium Honey, Medium Honey, Deep and Tan. The Limited Edition Complexion Brush is very exciting as tarte do some of the absolute best base brushes you can buy, so I’m always eager to try any new brushes they release, especially anything designed for base application. The Complexion Brush is a densely-packed, dome-shaped brush that gets into every nook and cranny, allowing you to buff and blend to your desired level of coverage. The other brush included is the Rule Bender Double-Ended Eyeshadow Brush, which has a soft, flat-headed blending brush at one end and a crease blending brush that’s equally soft at the other end. This bad boy goes beautifully well with the palette below.
Speaking of the palette, the aptly named Showerstopper Clay Eye and Cheek Palette really is a stunner, packed full with so many pretties from the six eyeshadows (all of which are new), to the gloriously neutral blush, plus a highlighter and bronzer for contouring, the latter two of which, I think, take this palette to the next level. tarte are such an amazing brand and everyone has their favourite aspect of the brand (brushes, brows, lips etc) but I think everyone will agree that they make the loveliest, prettiest palettes that you can easily obsess over. Check out the palette on the US tarte site here.
The final bits in the collection are what I would call the finishing touches – lips, liner and lashes. The Silk Amazonian Clay Eyeliner in Black is a truly silky, gel-like liner that works for all aspects of lining. I’m lucky enough to have a few of these in my collection and they really are great, especially along the waterline. I realise I keep banging on about how great tarte are, but if you haven’t tried them then you really need to as they truly are amazing, which is demonstrated in their mascaras, some of which are in my mascara hall of fame. The Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara is one of those as it’s just so easy to get great lashes with it, and in this kit you get a double-ended mascara with Lights, Camera, Lashes at one end and the teeniest, tiniest brush at the other end, designed for grabbing all the bottom lashes. The final product is the Drench Lip Splash Lipstick in Plummy Rose, which is a very pretty shade in a lovely, hydrating formula that adds enough colour for a bit of lift, whilst fitting in with the rest of the look perfectly. The tarte QVC TSV will be less than £40 (plus P+P – the value is over £110 – there seems to be a bit of confusion as to the price but it’ll definitely be less than £40!) and launches on QVC this Saturday, 4th June 2016. The link is live here but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to purchase yet.
