12 Gifts of Christmas: Clinique Chubby Sampler Set

Well this is annoying – I can’t seem to find the Clinique Chubby Sampler Set anywhere online as it appears to have sold out everywhere, but I thought I’d post about it anyway just in case stock can be tracked down in local stores.  I’m sure I say this every year, but Clinique really do know how to do Christmas – I’m always so excited to see what they have to offer and they’re particularly good at ensuring all price points are covered; this year there are some total stars, starting with the Eye-Mazing Treat Set that contains a mini liner, mascara and remover for £10 and going up the fantastic and extremely appealing Tiny Temptations set, which isn’t the cheapest at £68, but it contains 20 mini Chubbies from both the original and intense range and it’s just every make-up loving girl’s dream! At the cheaper end is the Chubby Sampler Set which I’ve got to show you today, if you can track it down…

The Chubby Sampler Set, as the names suggests, is a very cute little set of Chubbies that’s kind of like a little ‘look in a box’ and contains the Chubby Colour Balm in Chunky Cherry, Chubby Shadow Tint in Lot’s O’Latte, Chubby Cheek Colour Balm in Amp’d Up Apple and finally Chubby Lash Mascara in Jumbo Jet.  Feel free to correct me if you know better, but I think all are slightly smaller versions of the original other than the Chubby Cheek Colour Balm, but don’t let that put you off as they are very decent sized, and all colours are wearable and easy.  The set is £20, which is tremendous value (and probably why they’re sold out everywhere) and, as with a lot of sets I’ve featured, this works really well as both a standalone gift, or broken down into several gifts or even individualised to make stocking fillers.  You can see the set here – link – but to track one down you’ll need to head instore and see what you can find.
