Yup! Just a tad late with this one as it’s almost time to talk about the June Loves, but I thought I’d share with you the products I loved last month, even though it was a while ago…
IT Cosmetics are speedily becoming my favourite make-up brand, especially now they’re available at Selfridges (check out more info here) and what really started it for me is the Naturally Pretty palette (usually here – link – for £34 but currently sold out, which makes perfect sense since it’s AWESOME) which is just one of those palettes that ticks all the boxes: easy to use, beautiful, flattering shades, wonderful formulas. I still swoon every time I use it, which is at least half the week. My Shadow Switch is a bit of an unsung hero as it gets used sooo much but rarely featured anywhere, so I thought I’d rectify that. It serves a very basic purpose – it removes eyeshadow from brushes – but it means you can get away with using fewer brushes and each colour gets a clean application, so it’s something I recommend to everyone. It’s £5.99 here – link – and here’s my full review.
The Tonga shade of the Cargo Powder Blush is just the most perfectly flattering pink that’s muted and natural – think a slightly more pink take on Mac’s Mocha – so it works with basically everything. I love the Cargo blushers, I think their formulas are really lovely and I dig the packaging too. Tonga is available here – link – for £10.50.
I’m soooo lazy when it comes to using a body moisturiser as I just hate everything about it; having to dip my hands into a pot of cream and rub it all over, then wait for it to absorb…it’s a lot of work! The Aveeno Daily Moisturising After-Shower Mist is the perfect product if you’re like me, as it’s almost as quick as ‘spray and go’ thanks to the ultra-fine mist that absorbs extremely quickly and leaves skin looking and feeling noticeably softer. It’s £7.50 here – link. The final product is the Tigi Queen Beach Salt Spray which is just brilliant at adding beachy texture to even the straightest of hair, without any crispiness or product-y feeling. It’s £9.90 here – link – and will last you for ages.
