The July 2017 Glossybox is summer themed and it’s an absolute corker, with five products (four of which are full-sized) that are all very usable, versatile, crowd-pleasing and extremely welcome. The mix is really good, as is the pretty design of the box – Glossybox July 2017 is a real winner, in my eyes.
As you can see, there’s not a hand or body cream in sight, instead we’ve got a colourful and enticing box of suits-all goodies alongside a few handy tools. I really struggled to work out the favourites this month as they’re all so good!
I’m very excited to start on the Spectrum Small Fan Brush as I use a fan brush every day to apply higlighter, with my current one starting to look a little worn, so this is a timely replacement. There’s also a duo of brightly coloured Papanga Spiral Hairbands, which appear to be like Invisibobbles but larger and a little fancier looking. I’m pleased there are two in the box to give me a better chance to have a play. That gorgeous sweet treat is actually a Cutebalms Macaroon Tint Balm in the shade Crushed Berry, which is every bit as novel as it is fun and pretty.
I put these two products last purely because they’re similar colours and I thought suited each other in the photograph…First there’s the Bellapierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder which I’m really looking forward to trying as the whole banana powder trend is something I haven’t fully investigated yet. The final product is the Monu Professional Skincare Monuspa Soothing Aftersun Lotion, which is generally sized but not full-sized. You can never have too much Aftersun, especially with the crazy, unpredictable sun we’ve had recently, so this sort of product is always very welcome and I think it rounds off a truly awesome box.
