This upcoming QVC TSV from tarte is an absolute beauty. The tarte Bombshell Basics Colour Collection is an edit of some of the brands bestsellers, and what a cracker of a collection too! As it’s a QVC TSV, expect top products at a fabulous price – there’s the stunning Sex Kitten Eyeshadow Palette plus a brush and four other full-sized products.
I’m a huge tarte fan and there are some of my favourite products included in this TSV, starting with the amazing Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara, which is one of the few mascaras that I’ve repeatedly used-up and I think the one included in this set will either be my 4th or 5th. There’s also the Sex Kitten Eyeliner which is a no-tug gel formula that I’m excited to try out.
I feel like the whole collection is built around the Sex Kitten Eyeshadow Palette, as is often the case with tarte TSVs as they do such good palettes, with this limited edition Sex Kitten one being no exception; there are eight shades in total – a good mix of matte and shimmery – and they all provide various levels of neutral smokiness, so you could mute it down for day or vamp it up for night.
The Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation is one of my all-time favourites (check out my full review here) and I’m so pleased to see it included in the collection as I think this is likely to ensure it develops even more of a following, thanks to it’s high coverage yet beautifully natural finish. Obviously you’ll be able to pick your shade, but I’m not sure whether they’ll have all 12 shades or a limited edit available, but I would guess it’s probably the latter. Next is the Lip Sculptor which is a product I haven’t tried before, but it’s basically a lipstick at one end and a lipgloss at the other. The shade included is Sangria, which is described as a mauve berry, but I think it’s more of a muted, deep nude shade with slight berry undertones. Finally, you get a gold eyeshadow brush to complete the kit. The whole set is going to be less than £45, which is stonking value if you consider that the foundation alone is £30 and the palette £25, so you’re getting so much for your money. The TSV will launch on the 5th July 2017 and as it’ll involve picking your foundation shade, I would get in there early just in case stock runs out.
