It’s beauty box day on the blog today! The Glossybox January 2018 box is here and it feels very bright and promising, capturing that innocent and enthusiastic new year vibe wonderfully. There’s a generally good mix with a bit of skincare, make-up, nail care and some very interesting supplements too.
As you can see, there’s a definite theme to the box, which contains an attractive and inviting selection of products. I like the fact that everything looks quite pure and good for you and the products fill the box too, which I think is quite important.
I’m starting with the Boots Beauty Beneath Supplements even though I’ll be giving them away (they’re huge and I really struggle with taking pills, regardless of how determined I might be) as I think this is such a great inclusion in a NY box; you get a full four week supply (60 tablets) and the nutrient-rich pills are designed to give your skin a boost from the inside. I’m really into nails again so the Nail Medic Nail and Cuticle Energizer is a welcome product that I’ll be putting to use straight away. The Evelyn Iona Cosmetics Green Tea Primer also sounds really promising, so I’m looking forward to trying it.
The Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil is another fabulous inclusion in the January 2018 Glossybox, the only reason it’s low on my list is because my skin doesn’t seem to like rose as an ingredient (particularly annoying as it’s in blimin’ everything!) so this won’t get a lot of use – especially frustrating as this looks fab. The final product is the Apicia Cream Blush which sounds nice enough and I’ll be putting it aside for the summer when I tend to reach for cream blusher formulas more. A great start to the year for Glossybox! Find out more here – link.
