I am horrified to be writing the word “July” for beauty boxes now – HOW IS IT JULY ALREADY? I know I say it every year – even more so since Teddy arrived -but the years truly fly by. Anyway! The Birchbox July 2018 is a beautifully presented box with all the pretty pastel shades of pink, yellow and lilac, which come together to produce a very attractive box.
The Birchbox July 2018 contents is pretty decent, with a good mix and a couple of standout products; two bits of make-up, two bits of skincare and a body product too. I believe both make-up bits are full-sized whilst the rest are samples/deluxe samples.
The Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Satin is definitely my favourite from the July 2018 Birchbox contents as I’m really into eyeshadow sticks at the moment (as a direct consequence of this Nudestix palette) and this shade looks really pretty. The Manna Kadar Long-Wear Powder (in either Paradise of Trifecta – pictured is Trifecta) is an interesting, multi-purpose powder that you can use on eyes, cheeks and brows too apparently! I love the sound of the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum which sounds like a lovely, gently, kind-to-skin product that’ll softly tackle breakouts.
The What’s in it for me..? Shower Scrub looks nice enough and smells lovely – as soon as I cracked open the box I could smell it straight away. The final product is the BeautyPro Eye Therapy Under Eye Mask, of which you get a single use sachet. I noticed other boxes are getting something from Klorane instead or the BeautyPro eye mask sachet – Klorane are awesome so I think the lucky recipients will be pretty happy with their contents. There we have a pretty decent mix of products in a lovely box, making the Birchbox July 2018 an overall good’n. Subscribe and find out more about Birchbox UK here – link.
