I Love Signature Scent Collection

Everyone knows the I Love collection, as it’s a gorgeous range of bath and body products in enticing flavours featuring your favourite foods and sweets, with examples including the Strawberries and Cream Shower Smoothie and the Pink Marshmallow Body Butter.  It’s one of those ranges that everyone has a soft spot for since the products are pretty and the prices are reasonable.  With that in mind, you’re going to love the new I Love Signature Scent Collection, which takes all the joy from the original range, and adds fancier scents and gorgeous new packaging.  The I Love Signature Scent Collection has launched with six glorious new fragrances with something for everyone. The scents are more sophisticated and complex, with a much broader range that goes beyond the typical one note fruitiness or the originals. Here’s a look at each new fragrance:

Elderflower Fizz is a fruity floral, providing “beautiful, floral freshness,”with key notes of Elderflower, Jasmine, Apple and Cucumber.  The fragrance is fresh, bright and uplifting, and works especially well in the bath salts, particularly if you’re like me and enjoy baths to start the day/after a workout!

Glazed Raspberry is a sweet gourmand, “an indulgent treat without the calories,” with notes of Raspberry, Strawberry, Doughnut and Vanilla.  The notes make it sound like it’s going to be overly sweet, but actually, the sharpness of the raspberry gives this a beautiful pop of bright fruitiness that’s really lovely – I’m not normally one for loving fruity scents, but I actually think this is my favourite of the six scents.

Violet Dreams is a sweet floral, “a sweet dream come true,” with notes of Bergamot, Green Apple, Parma Violets and Rose.  This is exactly as you might expect it to smell, and is very nostalgic for anyone who grew up chomping on Parma Violets sweets.

English Rose is a fresh floral, “nature’s bloom,” with notes of Pear, Red Berries, Rose, Jasmine and Amber.  This is a really lovely take on a rose scent, with a clear burst of rose that dominates, whilst the other notes keep it fresh and young.  This is another favourite of mine from the six fragrances.

Exotic Fruits is a tropical fruit fragrance, providing the “Scent of Summer,” with notes of Mango, Grapefruit, Melon and Pineapple.  This is the one for you if you love a scent that bursts with fruit – this smells like a holiday and is very bright and tropical.

Vanilla Milk is sweet vanilla, designed to “sooth the senses,” with notes of Bergamot, Vanilla, Milk Accord and Amber.  This is a lovely, soothing, gentle scent that’s creamy and gourmand – if you like vanilla fragrances then this is a lovely one that isn’t too sweet or too intense and would be lovely to use before bed.

My favourite from the I Love Signature Scent Collection is definitely the Glazed Raspberry, as it’s so lovely and smells absolutely yummy.  I also love English Rose and Vanilla Milk too.  I really love the whole collection as I think it’s been delivered brilliantly; the packaging is fun yet grown-up and in keeping with the overall feel of the products themselves.  Each of the Signature Scents is available as a Body Wash (£6.50), Bath Salts (£8), Body Mist (£6.50), Body Butter (£12) and Hand and Nail Cream (£5) so you can find your perfect scent and layer it your heart’s content.
