The Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals Collection could not be more Spring-like; the colours are six different pastels that mostly lean pink or lilac – great if you’re like me and love a pastel nail, but less so if you prefer a brighter shade. What I really like about the Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals Collection is that it’s themed – you can see the full six shades are all soft-toned and blushed, so they all kind of match in a way, rather than just six random colours plonked together and called a collection, these six polishes are united in their pastel similarities.
The six shades – from left to right in the swatches – are:
Strike a Posie – baby pink cream
Gardenia My Heart – muted lavender cream
Young, Wild and Freesia – muted peach cream
Follow the Petals – pale pink pearl
Merci Bouquet – Lilac cream
I Feel Flower-ful – muted pink cream
All six of the shades in the Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals Collection are perfect for everyday wear, and particular great for the upcoming wedding season – the first thing I thought of when these arrived was weddings! I’m currently wearing Follow the Petals at the moment which is so pretty on (will share a picture on Instagram very soon) and I think I’ll be trying one of the purple shades soon – either Gardenia My Heart or Merci Bouquet. There have been so many bright and “in your face” nail colours recently that I think the Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals make a really nice change – they’re kind of pretty takes on nudes that are very easy to wear and slot into any kind of outfit, providing a tint of flattering colours that wears really well, this is your typically pretty Spring collection that’s perfect now the days are warming up and we’re finally getting a bit of sun.
