I’ve tried quite a bit of Revolution Skincare over the last year or so, some of which were purchases and some of which I was sent as press samples, and it really opened my eyes to just how accessible and affordable good quality skincare can be, if done correctly. We’re lucky to have some great budget brands that do amazing skincare, but I don’t think any of them will have quite as many options as Revolution skincare offer; have a little nose on their site, they really do have everything! I treated myself to a couple of their masks and I can really recommend.
Today I’m showing you a couple of the newest members to their Retinol family, the 0.3% Retinol with Vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the 1% Retinol Super Intense Serum. At the start of the year, I wrote an introduction to the Revolution Skincare range of Retinol products which you can read about here which I was really impressed with as they’ve got a bit of everything for any kind of Retinol need, meaning you can introduce it into your routine in a format that suits your requirements and tastes.
The 1% Retinol Super Intense Serum Joins the 0.2% and the 0.5% serums, so you can start at the concentration that would best suit your tolerance. As a rough guide, if you’ve never used a Retinol product, start the lowest percentage, ease yourself in with a couple of uses a week and allow your skin to gradually adjust. Also, hopefully it goes without saying, but Retinol in any form is an active, so make sure you keep your SPF topped up if you’re going out in the sun.
I absolutely love the idea behind the 0.3% Retinol with Vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid Serum as this covers all your skincare needs in one little bottle! I have a really comprehensive routine that involves three different serums (as well as the various cleansers and hydrators) but I realise it’s not achievable for everyone and having just a really good, simple serum that does it all is such a fantastic idea. I can’t find any info on what vitamins are included in the serum other than Niacinamide (B3), but even if the serum is just Retinol, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid, how fabulous is that?!
Both new serums are available now. Find the 1% Retinol Super Intense Serum here – link – for £12 and the 0.3% Retinol with Vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid Serum here – link – for £10.
