We all love a bit of Murad, don’t we? I think any skincare enthusiast has at least one Murad product in their collection that they cannot live without, but, let’s be frank, Murad are not cheap, so when they do a sale it is an excellent time to stock up. With that in mind, I thought I’d put together a few of my favourite Murad products to give you some inspiration on what to try next. Full disclosure, one of the products is not actually in the sale (unfortunately, some of the newer launches aren’t included) but I thought I would feature it any way because they also have a gift-with-purchase running if you spend over ยฃ75 where you’ll get minis of both the Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment and the Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lift Treatment, so that’s an added benefit of you need more encouragement!
I’m always very cautious about recommending manual exfoliators as they can so often do more harm than good and I use them very sparingly. The Murad ones are easily some of the best available, providing a mix of gentle and chemical exfoliation in a mask-like format that you can use for a quick skin buff, or leave on for a longer treatment, Both the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser and the Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial are absolutely amazing (these are both well-loved repurchases for me) and I would struggle to pick favourite, but I will sat that I tend to gravitate more towards the AHA/BHA one when I’m congested or breaking out, and the Vita-C one when my skin is behaving well and in need of some serious glow.
Speaking of breakouts, one of my all-time favourite ingredients for treating breakouts is sulfur as I find it does so much; it pulls spots the surface, calms them, reduces them and works speedily too, so if you’re prone to breakouts then you definitely need some sulfur skincare in your kit! I really like the Murad Rapid Relief Sulfur Mask as a gentle treatment for congestions and spots that blends clay with sulfur.
I’m gutted that the Heartleaf collection isn’t included in the sale as I think it’s my favourite ever Murad collection! Have a little read of my review if you fancy finding out more, but in the meantime, if you’re looking to try something from the range, I recommend the beautiful Heartleaf Calming Cream Moisturiser, that does everything it says on the tin, and more.
On the other hand, I am thrilled that the Retinal ReSculpt Eye Treatment is included in the sale, as this is a perfect example of an investment product; it is expensive, but it really does work! It comes with some big claims, promising to lift, firm and tighten in just a few weeks, but it really does improve a number of issues and I love that you can use it on the upper eye area too! If this is too big a commitment then remember you get a trial size in the aforementioned GWP, so if you want to dip your foot in then that is the way forward.
I’ve expanded on my favourites to include a few more suggestions here, or you can head straight to the Murad site here.
