When I wrote about the newest Bourjois launches (check them out here) I had a feeling I’d like the Magic Nail Care Treatment pot, and I was right – it’s absolutely awesome. It’s a little pot containing an oil-soaked sponge with a little hole in it that you dip your fingers into, and this gives each finger a full cover of oil that you then rub in – it sounds like it’ll be messy but the oil is very light and I’ve actually found I create less mess oiling my cuticles this way than I do when I use a more traditional pipette/pen formula for such a task.
The hole in the sponge opens up when you put your finger in, so don’t worry if you have big fingers like me, you’ll still be able to slot your fingers in. It’s a very quick process – dip it in, twirl it around, lift it out – but you can take longer and leave your finger in there for a bit if you’re doing a manicure or have particularly dry and tough cuticles; it’s a comfortable product to use so you don’t need to rush it. Thankfully, whilst it’s very novel, it’s also very practical, so I can see myself using this regularly – so far I’ve used it every night and it’s slotted into my routine with ease. I can also see it lasting quite a while making it a very cost-effective purchase at £6. It’ll be interesting to see how the sponge gets on with other oils once it’s run out; I’ll be giving that a go but I think it’ll be a while! It’s here – link – and should go everywhere else later this month.

That’s confirmed it…. I neeeed this x
It’s an absolute star if you’re crap at regularly applying oil to your nails xx
Oh I am..
Have just got one of their chocolate Orange nail polish remover pots and I’m redicously excited about changing my polish tonight xx
How was it? I didn’t realise they did flavoured polish remover pots – that is insane! xx
Smells like nail polish in the pot but left my fingers smelling of chocolate Orange!! Love it xx
Sounds awesome – I hope it’s a trend that catches on as I’m not sure I love the idea of chocolate orange, but something like vanilla or caramel would be goooorgeous xx
I saw a similar one from Essence! Works so good
CANDICE | BEAUTY CANDY LOVES
I will check it out – it’s such a great concept xx
where can i buy this is sounds great for conditioning my dry cuticles?
It is truly fab! It’s at Beauty Mart at the moment but I think it’ll go into Bourjois counters fairly soon xx
I bought this by accident thinking it was nail polish remover as it looks like it and even says 1 second per nail on the pot. I hate it. I feel so stupid and cheated as I thought it was polish remover. Why would I want to put this oily stuff on my hands?!
Oh no, what a shame! I personally really love it – I think it’s such an easy way to oil your cuticles before bed, but I can see why some may not agree!
