Let’s face it, deodorants are hardly products to get overly excited about, but having said that, I’m still pretty fussy about the ones I use; they have to smell nice, feel good, not sting and do a good job at keeping me feeling clean and fresh, so it’s safe to say I require quite a bit from just the one product. I think Right Guard have a pretty good name for delivering on deodorants so I was happy to give their newest one a go.
The Right Guard Total Defence 5 Floral Power deodorant is a pleasantly scented spray that promises to address the five main elements of perspiration; odour, wetness, stickiness, bacteria and yellow stains, and all of this comes in an alcohol-free formula. I’m fortunate not to really struggle with the majority of those elements, but I can say that my underarms remain fresh all day and I really like the scent – a lot of deodorants can be quite pungent and OTT, but this one is light and pretty, although I would imagine it might not suit everyone, so give it a spray and a sniff before committing to wearing it. One thing I really like about this is how gentle it feels on the skin; I’ve even used it immediately after shaving – something you’re really not supposed to do – and it felt fine and didn’t sting at all. All-in all, a very good product for a fantastic price of less than £3…however, Boots currently have it on offer for £1.44 which is even better! Head here – link.
