Clarins do absolutely brilliant foundations; they cover a great shade spectrum, offer buildable, flexible coverage and tend to be kind to skin. They even smell nice! So I was very excited to get my hands on the latest foundation launch from the brand, the Clarins Everlasting Foundation+.
The Clarins Everlasting Foundation+ is designed to stay in place without changing form for up to 18 hours, so once applied, it shouldn’t oxidise or let in any shine, and should instead maintain the level of coverage you’ve applied and stay the same colour. I would never have make-up on that long – I apply it just before I go out and get it off as soon as I get home – so I can’t test the 18 hour claim.
What I can say is that this really doesn’t budge once applied and it’s very good at maintaining coverage and keeping shine at bay. My extremely tricky skin is quite dry at the moment and I found this foundation a little too dry after around 4 hours, but whilst it felt a little dry and tight, it didn’t look that way, and instead left skin looking demi-matte with a little glow and very well covered.
As you can see in the pictures, the huge selling point is just how great it covers, whilst giving a natural finish – you don’t need to pile it on either, and it leaves skin looking smooth and even which is fantastic. If you have oily skin then this is your dream come true. Dry skins will need to tread carefully as it can feel quite drying, but I’d say any other skin type should give this a go as the finish and coverage are both wonderful. Also worth noting, I’m not actually the palest shade in this – there’s a first for everything – and instead I’m the second palest shade, 103 Ivory, which is a very good match, as you can see. The Clarins Everlasting Foundation+ SPF15 is £27.50 here – link.

Oo this sounds like something that might not melt off my face here, great review, I’ll check it out.
It is seriously long-lasting – once in place it doesn’t budge until removal time!

It is lovely; I especially love the finish which is very skin-like and glowy xx
