I’ve been using the La Prairie Anti-Ageing Rapid Response Booster for over a month now, with surprisingly good results; I say surprisingly because La Prairie isn’t really a brand that focuses on spot-prone skin, so I always figured that if I were to introduce any of their range into my routine, I’d end up with lots of breakouts, but thankfully that hasn’t been the case at all with this serum.
The La Prairie Anti-Ageing Rapid Response Booster is a hydrating serum that smells, strangely, like hand soap. My skin tends to react to perfume so I was a bit worried about trying this once I’d smelled the fragrance, but again there no issues. The serum itself is a lovely, soothing and hydrating gel that soaks in quickly and leaves skin feeling baby soft, without any residue. It’s a very good treatment for hydration and it works in harmony with over products – I like to use it before I use my LightStim and it works well with this.
It’s in attractive and easy-to-use packaging and I tend to use three pumps in the evening, and if I’m using it in the morning, I’ll use two pumps. It’s actually a very good product, but the price point of £195 makes it quite out of reach for a lot of budgets, and as it isn’t a miracle product I wouldn’t suggest spending that much unless money is no object or you’re a die-hard La Prairie fan. In conclusion, it’s a wonderfully hydrating product that I’ll happily repurchase if I win the lottery, but there are equally hydrating serums available for a fraction of the price.
