The actual box for the Glossybox September 2015 release is possibly the prettiest box Glossybox have done – I absolutely love the gorgeous illustration and this is very much one to keep! The September 2015 Glossybox is the style edition, with the contents inspired by key beauty looks behind the AW15 catwalks, which you can absolutely see in the contents:
It’s certainly has an Autumnal vibe, doesn’t it? It’s a lovely box of goodies that I’m looking forward to tucking into, with a good selection of colour and hair bits, although interestingly no skincare.
First up we get a lovely big tub of the Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque. I’ve been looking for a good hair mask to try out lately, as I have a cleansing shampoo that I’ve been desperate to use, but not without a good, hydrating conditioner to follow! I’m always happy to add new Invisibobbles to my collection, and these pretty, pearly white ones will be getting used immediately. My long-standing obsession with make-up brushes is well documented, and I’ve just ordered some more eyeshadow brushes on eBay, so the Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro will also be getting used very soon. That’s almost £40 worth of goodies before we’ve even finished!
Now on to the very autumnal colour bits, starting with the Nails Inc Polish. All boxes will be getting one of two shades, either a muted, blush pink (not sure what the shade name is) or the one I received, which is the deep khaki of Battersea Park. I love Nails Inc and I’m always happy to receive a polish from them, although I think I would’ve preferred the pinker shade! Finally there’s a lovely slate shade of the Bellapierre Shimmer Powder, called Whesek. The reason this is last on the list if for the same reason any loose powder pigments fall so low on my lists, because I struggle to use them without making a real mess.
Finally, there’s also a voucher for Best Secret fashion site which entitles you to £15 off a £45 spend. Extremely good value this month at well over £60, which is not at all bad for a box that costs less than £14 all-in.
