Last night I popped down to Zelens HQ to find out what’s new and upcoming from this exciting skincare and make-up brand. There are some lovely new arrivals from both aspects, but the launch that got me most excited is the trio of Treatment Drops, which are skincare vitamin drops that’ll happily slot into any skincare routine and give it a major boost.
There are three types of Treatment Drops; Power A, Power C and Power D. Power A, as I’m sure you might have guessed, is a Retinol product containing high potency Vitamin A that will help address a multitude of issues such as blemishes, signs of ageing and skin texture. Power C contains high potency Vitamin C and is designed to brighten, improve elasticity and provide antioxidant protection. If you’re skincare savvy, you’ll no doubt have come across both Vitamin A and C in other skincare products, but can you say the same for Vitamin D? This is a particularly interesting one for me, as Vitamin D is something that a lot of us are lacking in, so I’m excited to see this skincare development and I’m intrigued to see how it works. Power D is designed to strengthen skin’s resilience against environmental aggressors as well as fortify barrier function.
It’s a very exciting trio! I love the fact that the treatment drops come in a skin-friendly, oily formula that allows for easy insertion into your regular routine. I used mine for the first time last night (so this is most definitely just a heads-up and not a review!) and only a few drops are needed. You apply immediately after cleansing before you use your serum (if you use one) then moisturiser. I found the drops to be hydrating, easily absorbed and the bottle is especially user-friendly. All I’ve heard are amazing things about Zelens so I’m really keen to see how my skin reacts to the Power A; stay tuned as I will update! I believe the Treatment Drops are due any day now on the Zelens site – link – then Space NK in March. Power A is £115, Power C is £125 and Power D is £110.
