Not to be confused with a new film release (although how cool would that be?!), SheSaidBeauty.com have created the ultimate tool for beauty lovers everywhere; a social network based solely around all things beauty. If you’re like me and you long for the same type of beauty focused, “look-book style” sites that fashion lovers seem to have plenty of, then you’ll be pleased to know that SheSaidBeauty.com has created exactly that along with some amazing beauty-based features that should get any beauty lover incredibly excited.
Last week I visited the team behind the launch (for pictures and a run-down of the event, have a look here) and enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat with a few of the key members who have put together this fantastic idea. It really is one of those ‘why didn’t anyone think of this before?’ concepts which allows you to completely indulge your passion for beauty and shop far more smartly.
You set up your own profile on SheSaidBeauty.com (you can join independently or login via various existing social media accounts) and from there you create your personal beauty page where you can share your likes, dislikes and reviews as well as log your own information such as eye colour and hair type to give others an idea of how suitable your product recommendations are for them. The result being that we can do all our beauty research and become much more savvy with our product purchases.
There’s sooooo much going on at the site, far more than I can competently explain here, but one thing I will mention is that there are a lot of beauty bloggers with profiles set up (like me! Did you see where I was going with that?) so if you’re a blog-lover – and I’m guessing/hoping if you’re reading this then you probably are – then it’s a great “one-stop-shop” that’ll let you follow the blogs you love, keep up to date with beauty news, seek product recommendations from people with similar skin types/issues/tones and fully immerse yourself in all things beauty.
Here you can join SheSaidBeauty.com so I hope to see you there!
I like this idea.
