I love Real Techniques. We all love Real Techniques. I especially love Real Techniques gift sets as they usually provide even more value for their amazing products. However, what I always tend to moan about regarding the gift sets are the brush holders they often come with as it’ll usually be some flimsy, unhelpful product that can barely carry three or four brushes, which I think is terrible pointless, although I haven’t read similar opinions so I might be being unfair. Thankfully, I’ll shut up now as the Real Techniques Travel Case Makeup Brush Set comes with a brilliant case that is sturdy, handy and perfect for keeping brushes safe and together.
Real Techniques Travel Case Makeup Brush Set comes with six brushes in total, the Tapered Foundation Brush, the Multitask Brush, the Multitask Cheek Brush, the Deluxe Crease Brush, the Base Shadow Brush and the Eyeliner Brush. These are all great brushes and I could happily rave on about the joys of applying product with a really good Real Techniques brush (and it really is joyful) but what I love more than anything about the set is the extremely handy travel case that comes with it.
The case is solid yet with plenty of give (so it won’t snap if thrown around in your luggage) and it contains a popper closer on each side which stay together firmly. Inside you can easily fit all six of the brushes in the set, and probably quite a few more, especially if they’re skinny eye brushes. What’s also great is that both ends completely separate so you can use them both as cups to stand your brushes in, either when you’re travelling or as a more permanent feature on your dressing table – this is a very well thought out bit of kit! It’s usual retail price is £36 but it’s currently on special at Superdrug for £30, which is brilliant value for a set that contains six great brushes and the fabulous case too!
