Nursem is such a lovely idea: a range of hand care products for hard-working hands, with a charitable intention; with every product purchased, Nursem give a month’s supply of hand care to a nurse or midwife. I’m repeatedly reminded of just how amazing nurses are; my last experience when I had surgery 6 weeks ago really showed me just how hard-working nurses are (even though they so rarely get credit) especially considering we’re in a pandemic, so anything we can do to support them we should do, plus we get to treat ourselves to some gorgeous products, so literally win/win in every sense.
The two products I was sent are the Nursem Caring Hand Cream and the Nursem Caring Skin Fix. There’s another product in the range, the Caring Hand Wash, plus an unfragranced version of the Caring Hand Cream, the Ultra Caring Hand Cream. There are also various different sizings and gift sets, so you can tailor your purchase to your needs.
The Nursem Caring Hand Cream is rich yet non-greasy, hydrating without any residue, and you can layer it if you need more moisture. It’s so obviously been designed with nurses in mind, since it sinks in quickly leaving nothing comforted skin in its wake. I’m not someone who uses a hand cream a lot (I use crutches so I have very hardy hands) but if anything would convince me to start a new hand cream habit, it’s this. Both fragraned and unfragranced start at £9.99 for 75ml.
The Nursem Caring Skin Fix is my favourite of the product as it’s just one of those products you’ll find yourself reaching for. Firstly, I like the tub and the thick cream it houses – there’s something very inviting about a tub of whipped white hydration. Secondly, it’s great for everything! I’ve used it on my son when he got a bit of a heat rash and when he got a sore on his arm from his clothing. I’ve used it as a foot cream, hand cream, dry knee cream, post shave soother on my legs and even as a cuticle cream. It sounds like it’s going to be really dense and saturate skin, but much like the hand cream, it soaks in really quickly and doesn’t leave any stickiness. I find myself carrying it around just in case, so when I do actually start leaving the house again in 2028, I’ll be popping this in my bag. It’s £14.99 for 50ml, but that will last you.
Nursem have given me a code to give you 10% off your first purchase and the codes is BEAUTYGEEK10.
