Docteur Renaud is a brand that has piqued my interest for two reasons; firstly, I like the fact that all skincare has been categorised into nine areas to suit individual skincare complaints and themed around a particular fruit or flower and secondly, the Purifying (polite way of saying “spot-reducing”) range is all formulated around Limes, and as I’ve successfully treated spots with speed using lemon juice in the past, it sits well with me that there’s a line utilising the benefit of citric fruits aimed at skin like mine. I haven’t tried any of the products yet, but I’m quite interested in the Calamine Drying Lotion as it seems – from reading the blurb – to follow the same approach to spot zapping as my go-to treatment, Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.
The Purifying range can be viewed here and the raspberry range (which is aimed at hydrating skin so probably not ideal for my skin type, but I can’t help but love the idea of using raspberries in my skincare routine!) can be viewed here.

Oh it seems they’ve revamped everything. I used to love one of their cleansers which had cucumber for oily skin. Not too expensive I used it more than a few years. 🙂
