A new line from one of my all time favourite brands has arrived, and it’s an absolute beaut of a collection by Bobbi Brown, called Lilac Rose. Inspired by the runways of New York Fashion Week SS13 and given the standard BB treatment of ensuring all shades are wearable, pretty and easy to work with, the collection consists of five limited edition products and three new lipgloss shades.
The Limited Edition products in the Lilac Rose collection are the Eye Palette (Lilac Rose), Shimmer brick (Lilac Rose), Sparkle Eye Shadow (Lilac Sparkle), Blush (Pastel Pink) and Nail Polish (Roza) and the additional lipgloss shades are Rose and Pink Lily, plus Pink Lilac in the brightening lipgloss formula.
There is honestly nothing in this collection that I’m not really excited about, but the products that immediately piqued my interest are the new shade of blusher (I absolutely loved the Nude Pink shade from the Neons and Nudes collection so I’ll definitely compare these two once I get my hands on Pastel Pink), the bright pop of pink in the Pink Lily lipgloss and the Lilac Sparkle shade addition to the Sparkle Eye Shadow range. I will be abusing my credit card beyond all measures, so expect to see a few of these pieces appear on the blog shortly.
