I’ve been planning to write about this mascara pretty much since I received it, and whilst I’ve mentioned it a few times on here and on Twitter, I’ve only now been able to devote to it the time it deserves.
This is currently my most loved Mascara as it’s got a gigantic brush, which, whilst it takes a bit of getting used to, once you’ve got the hang of it, makes the application time a few seconds and the effect is fantastic. I only ever need one coat and I can boost both the tiny lashes on the inner corners and the slightly temperamental lashes on the outer corners (I don’t know if this is the norm, but my outer lashes tend to go off in some very strange directions) so that I end up with natural, yet big, fat and long lashes.
Bourjois’s Volume Glamour Max gives such a natural prettiness to lashes during the day, yet can be built up at night for HUGE lashes, so if you’re a fan of doll-like lashes then this is perfect for it.
Mascara really is my go-to product and it’s the one thing I really feel naked without. I’ve been using this one pretty much every day since I got it and I genuinely love it. I’ve mentioned in previous blogs that I can be a bit snobby about mascaras, and whilst this isn’t at the cheapest end of the price spectrum, it still costs less than half of what I usually pay and is easily as good as, if not better, than the higher priced ones in my collection.
Available at Boots for £9.49 and they’re currently running a 3 for 2 on selected Bourjois items.

I like the shape of the mascara and the effect on your lashes
Thanks Carol 🙂 It’s interesting you should say that actually as I was thinking this morning what a gorgeous shape the actual mascara is and I was wondering why I didn’t comment about it in the post. It really is a fab mascara xx
