Omorovicza Cashmere Cleanser

Oh the joy of an Omorovicza cleanser.  Seriously, if I had to commit to one brand for all my cleansing needs, it would 100% be Omorovicza.  I did a quick intro to the Omorovicza Cashmere Cleanser in this post, but i thought it was about time I gave it a more thorough review.  As you would expect from the wonderfully consistent Omorovicza, this is one of those lovely products that does exactly as it promises, in a beautiful formula, housed in perfect packaging.  It’s a pump-style tube, so brilliant for hygiene, and one pump provides the perfect amount of product.

The Omorovicza Cashmere Cleanser is designed to “cleanse and sooth sensitive skin” which it definitely does, although I’m a little disappointed to find fragrance in the ingredients list, a component that’s pretty apparent as soon as you start using it as it smells beautiful.  If you’re like me and have sensitive skin that doesn’t react to fragrance, you’ll have no problem here, as it’s certainly not overwhelming.  The product itself is a rich cream that glides across the skin, feeling like a moisturiser and removing everything in its path, gently, effectively and without any fuss.  It really does feel gorgeous on the skin, and it’s perfect as either an AM or PM cleanse; I like to use an oil and follow with this, and I find it especially effective as part of my Obagi routine.  Pretty much anyone can use this (other than those especially sensitive to fragrance) as it would work with any routine, particularly one that’s high on actives, as this cleanses brilliantly without stripping skin or adding anything unnecessary – skin just feels perfectly cleansed and clean.  My favourite Omorovicza cleanse is, of course, the Thermal Cleansing Balm (what do you mean you haven’t tried it? Sort that out right now!) but Cashmere Cleanser is definitely a close second.  Find it here – link – for £47.
