*PR Samples/Gifted/PR Event*
I attended an event today to mark the arrival of the new The Inkey List launches and I was going to write them up as soon as I’d had a chance to try them, but I wanted to give them a quick mention as I find the whole range really exciting, so I think you will too! If you haven’t come across The Inkey List range of skincare before, they’re a budget-friendly (everything under £15) range of skincare with each product providing a very specific focus so you know exactly what you’re getting. The three new arrivals are especially exciting and form the new Innovation Line, so here’s a little look at what they are:
First up there’s Polyglutamic Acid, the product I’m most excited about and the reason I dragged my knackered self into Central London for the launch! This is a “next generation hydrator” that promises to hold 4x more moisture than Hyaluronic Acid which is a huge draw as, let’s face it, there’s very little on the market to rival HA and we’re crying out for something new! What I particularly like about this product is that it hasn’t been launched as an HA replacement, but instead something that we can use alongside it, so that’s handy for all the die-hard HA fans. Next up is the Heptapeptide which is a multi-purpose ant-ageing serum that utilises seven different peptides to help encourage the production of collagen. There’s also Squalane to hydrate (Squalane has been around for a while, but I feel like 2019 might be it’s year) and a primer-like formula provides a blurring effect too.
Finally there’s the Multi-Biotic moisturiser which I really love the sound of as it’s like a gentle, balancing moisturiser that’ll provide good bacteria and hopefully help tricky skin types to repair themselves; I think us spot-prone types often really screw up the quality of our skin whilst we desperately try to reduce all the breakouts, so anything that’s aimed at helping broken-out skin by gently repairing the barrier rather than attacking it, sounds good to me. I’ll also mention that if you’re prone to breakouts, the Inkey List have some great sounding products that are clearly targeted at helping treat spots, such as the Salicylic Acid Cleanser and the Beta Hydroxy Acid, both of which are available at Cult Beauty here – link.
I’ve only tried one product from this brand so far but definitely want to try more! xx
