Three words I don’t want to hear: Revolution Beauty Sale. I’ve been lusting after a few new bits from Revolution for a while (as a side note – I thought I’d pick up the bits I wanted in person so I went to Superdrug and I’ve never seen anything like it! The Revolution stand is massive and it just gets constantly raided and people are queuing to just look at the products – crazy!) so if you’re the same, then now is the time to act as they’ve got some unbelievable bargains happening at the mo, there are plenty of bits and bobs that are coming in at less than a pound – and my favourite find so far is the above Iconic Smokey Palette which is currently down to £1.80. £1.80!!
I can also really recommend their Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palettes as these are such good palettes that are a great way to introduce you to a few new ideas that may sit slightly outside of your comfort zone, as these palettes usually contain a host of everyday neutrals alongside a few wildcard shades, so if anything’s going to get you pushing your boundaries, it’s these, and there are a few in the sale which is great, especially as they’re down to £2.40, which is just unbelievable, isn’t it?
As you’d expect from a Revolution Sale, there’s a bit of everything with some fantastic brush and sponge sets, palettes of all kinds, gift sets (great to stock-up on, especially as you can often break them down into smaller gifts, so ideal for birthday presents) and of course skincare, make-up prep and all that’s in between. As soon as word gets out that there’s a Revolution sale, I reckon things will move fast, so if you see something you like, buy it! I really do think that you could completely redo your make-up basics for less than £20.
