Glossybox April 2021: Woke Up in Spring
The February Glossybox wasn’t great at all, the March Glossybox was soooo much better, so what’s the April 2021 Glossybox like? The theme is “Woke Up in Spring” which I think is pretty much self-explanatory. There are five products in the Glossybox April 2021 contents and I think they’re pretty good; there are no “WOW” products, but there are also no terrible duds, so a fairly balanced, if unremarkable, box. Here’s what you get:
Skin&Co Roma Truffle Therapy Morning Dew – how gorgeous does this sound?! It’s actually a cleanser, which surprised me, as normally the word ‘dew’ suggests a serum or moisturiser, so I almost overlooked this (as often ‘dew’ suggests breakouts for skin types like mine) but I’m glad I read the blurb as I’m looking forward to trying this. Its a teeny, tiny sample, but still well worth a go.
Sophia + Mabelle Eyeshadow Quad – this is the first of the two makeup products in the box, and, I believe, the most expensive product in the box itself. It’s a pretty collection of four very Spring-ready shades; possibly not the shades I’d normally reach for, but I like the palette and it’s very in keeping with the theme.
DWTN Paris Liquid Blusher – I’m loving liquid and cream blushers at the moment so this was a very welcome inclusion in the box. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems to be a wearable shade in easy packaging, so it’ll be a keeper for me that I’ll be trying soon.
Minus 417 Serenity Legend Hydrating Dead Sea Bath Salts – I’m never unhappy to see something bath-related in my Glossybox and I do love bath salts! These sound really enticing so I’ll be using them this week.
Feel Free Antioxidant Eye Contour Cream – this is probably the least exciting product in the box for me, mostly because I definitely don’t need any more eye creams, plus I see the ingredients include lemon and mint, which seems like weird things to include in a product that goes around your eyes…of course I’m just speculating here, it might be fine!
Glossybox April 2021 is available now starting at £11.75 a month. Find out more here – link.
