I’m so glad Birchboxes now come in drawer-style packaging as they are so handy! The Birchbox September 2016 focuses on beauty heroes and contains a good selection of products, with two make-up bits, and something for hair, body and skin.
Everything in the September 2016 Birchbox is sample-sized apart from one thing, but it’s a good selection and there are some brands that I think people will find very exciting. Here’s what you’ll get this month:
It’s rare for me to find a sample-sized product the most exciting in a box, but when that product is a Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Blemish-Less then it’s okay to get carried away! This is a spot-fighting primer so I’m looking forward to seeing how it delivers. Next is the newest product from a brand that appears to have exploded onto the beauty scene, the Starskin Eye Catcher, which is a gel mask for your eyes that I’m looking forward to trying out. Everyone will be getting a full-sized ModelCo product, which will either be the Creme Rouge or the Highlighting Trio, the latter of which is what I received.
A little bit of Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil will luxe-up my shower – ever since becoming a firm fan of their lip balm and hand creams, I’m always up for trying something new from Nuxe. A lot of beauty boxes contain vouchers and gift cards etc that I tend to ignore, but I’ve included the LaLaBox promo as I think it’s really good and it’s definitely one I’ll be using – it’s basically a voucher to get a free (you pay for p&p) box of 36 printed photos which would normally cost £12.69; I’ve been wanting to do something similar with the many, many pictures of Teddy I’ve accumulated over the past three years, so that’s a great one for me that I’m excited to try. The final product is the Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray, which I featured last as I thought it was a shine spray, but having read the description and seeing it promises texture and volume, it actually sounds right up my street, so I will give it a go after all! A very solid box this month with some great goodies. Subscribe here – link.
