If you’re seeking a versatile, feminine fragrance that’s fresh and summery to see you through the next few months, then look no further as I have you sorted; the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom is as gorgeous smelling as it is looking, with a beautiful collection of fragrance notes that are light yet vibrant and very easy on the nose.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom starts off with fruity notes of mandarin orange and pomegranate, both of which are fresh and balanced, before the floral heart notes kick-in, all of which sit upon a woody base. The heart notes are rose, freesia and jasmine as well as ‘mountain air’ which is an interesting one that I can definitely pick up on; it adds an ever-so-slight saltiness that crisps up the white florals. On the dry down, the most dominant notes (for me) are freesia and jasmine, which give this a really lovely, grown-up floral feel that’s incredibly pretty. I also have to credit the understated elegance of the bottle – is that not the most gorgeously feminine bottle that looks utterly glamorous on your beauty dresser? Interestingly, I think the bottle style of just the right side of feminine matches the fragrance itself really well. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom is available now, in 30ml for £45, 50ml (pictured) for £58 and 100ml for £80. You can find it at Boots here – link – and Debenhams here – link – the latter of which will send you a sample of the fragrance along with your order so you can smell it before opening the bottle itself, meaning you’ll be able to get a full refund if you decide it isn’t for you. Nifty, eh? This is definitely one of my summer perfume picks and I really recommend heading to your local perfumery for a sniff to see if you’re a fan.
