SUQQU are really good at doing collections that stand out for all the right reasons. A great example of this is their latest launch, the Christmas Colour Collection, which delivers gorgeous shades, buttery textures and products you’ll add to your permanent kit. The SUQQU Christmas Collection contains a trio of eyeshadow quads (Designing Color Eyes), three lipsticks (Extra Glow Lipsticks) and a Pure Color Blush. I was also sent a couple of products that compliment the collection which I’ve also featured below.
I think most people will zone straight in on the gorgeous Designing Color Eyes palettes, which comes in three shade variants: Iwaiakari (109), Kohakuyoi (110) and Hikarisango (113). Iwaiakari is the brightest of the trio, Kohakuyoi provides more neutral shades and Hikarisango is warm and sultry. I have Kohakuyoi which is definitely my favourite of the trio, and whilst I’d love to elaborate here, I have already done so in my full review of the palette which you can read here.
The Extra Glow lipsticks are a beautiful, creamy formula with buildable pigmentation. The three shades forming the Christmas collection are Benisiguri (106), Yoibudou (107) and Amasoubi (108). All three shades are very deep and autumnal, so used alongside the palettes the look is quite strong, since the eyes and lips are both dominant, but if you’re not a fan of a strong make-up look you can go with one or the other, or use the less intense eye colour shades. I have Yoibudou which is a deep burgundy shade that’s very now, but I do prefer it with a low-key eye look. I was also sent the matching lip liner which is a great product that’s just right side of creamy, so you get a clean line without it dragging or catching.
The final product I’m mentioning is the SUQQU Gel Eyeliner, which isn’t in the Christmas collection but it’s such a lovely liner that works really well as part of the overall Christmas look. It’s a creamy product that has a lovely soft blender at the other end, so you can achieve that soft, smoky finish really easily. The whole SUQQU Christmas 2017 collection has launched already at both Selfridges (here – link) and Harrods (here – link) with some bits sold out already online, so if there’s something specific you fancy, you might need to give the stores a call or visit to see if it’s in stock. Prices range from £20 for the eyeliner to £46 for the palette.
