I was going to put this as an Instagram post but I always try (emphasis on the word “try”…) to keep Instagram posts relatively short and snappy, and I think the Boots Go Bright for Children in Need campaign deserves a little bit more coverage, so here it is! Often, Children in Need campaigns are very worthy, but a little bit fun and silly, which is absolutely fine, but the reason I like this particular one is because it’s actually a useful campaign for anyone who’s looking to push their boundaries and become a bit more open to trying something a bit different with their make-up.
On 3rd November 2017, Boots are launching the Pudsey Parlour at selected Boots stores where you can sit down with a No7 Beauty Consultant who will give you a “Go Bright” makeover; this could be either finding your perfect brighter lip or eye colour, or just generally brightening your overall make-up look. Obviously it’s an event in the name of charity with the intention of raising as much money as possible for Children in Need, so whilst the suggested donation is £2, it would be great if you could spare a bit more. If that hasn’t sold you, you’ll also get a “Go Bright” goody bag to take away – I’ve no idea what’s included but it sounds like a fab incentive! Find your nearest participating Boots here – link. I’ll be popping along to my local one at Brent Cross to see all the action, but if you can’t make it in, check out the “#GoBright” hashtag on social media tomorrow where you’ll be able to see any new looks as they appear.
