I really, really like the box that the contents of the Glossybox October 2020 box came in, it’s looks like a book of spells, making it an ideal October box for the month of Hallows’ Eve, plus it’s super pretty and the contents are on theme, so appearance-wise, it’s a very pretty box. There are a couple of decent goodies in the box, but I think the sizing of the contents overall (many minis) might be a touch underwhelming for subscribers who are used to being spoilt with bursting boxes. Here’s a look at what you get:
Luna by Luna Pixie Lipstick (£15) – this is a pretty, suits-all muted red in a creamy formula.
The Beauty Crop Stargazing Blush Duo (£18) – A very pretty pair of warming blushers, however, they’re quite small, so if you’re like me and you like to use a big brush for application, you might struggle.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer (£10) – I remember when this first launched I thought it was fabulous, so it’s a great product to be included, plus, even though it’s a mini, it’s a decent enough size to give you a few tries.
Crabtree & Evelyn Smooth + Refine Body Lotion (£4) – I love Crabtree & Evelyn but this is a very small sized mini at just 15ml, which I think might provide you only with a single use if you use this all over your body.
Cadbury’s Dark Milk (mini serving) – I’m not sure of the price of this, but I’m never unhappy to see a bit of a chocolate included! Also going to give extra marks for this particular chocolate since it’s being advertised by stars of my age group in cute little throwback-style ads, because I’m OLD.
There we have it: some good inclusions but they have had better boxes. Prices start at £13.25, find Glossybox UK here – link.
Disclosure: PR Sample, I was not paid to feature.
yum – love that they included some chocolate in this box. Sounds like a lot of great products!
