Elemis have had several new launches recently, some of which I’ll discuss in a later post, as today I’m sharing my thoughts on their new eye and lip make-up remover. The Elemis White Flowers Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover is a bi-phase formula (think Lancome Bi-Facil or Clinique Take the Day Off) which means that it contains two elements that need to be shaken together before use.
This is a truly wonderful eye make-up remover, that cuts through stubborn mascara and liner whilst feeling very soothing and nourishing around the delicate eye area. I’m not normally one for using removers on lipstick as I rarely have any left on when taking make-up off in the evening, but I used this for some major swatching last week and it proved amazingly effective for that too, without leaving a horrible taste behind. Some people might find this too greasy as it is incredibly rich and leaves quite a film behind, but I personally like that, as when removing eye make-up I want the process to feel as slippery as possible as this is not an area you want to be dragging around product. This is completely suitable for sensitive eyes like mine and is reasonably priced (for a luxury brand like Elemis) at £19 for 125ml, which should last you a couple of months of daily use. It’s available now from Time to Spa.
