Something a bit different to finish off one of the busiest weeks of my life; it’s safe to say there’s a lot of amazing beauty coming our way in the near future, all of which I’ll be sharing with you soon. In the meantime, I wanted to put together a post on my favourite Facebook pages as I spend a lot of time on Facebook just mooching around, reading little features and generally remaining distracted.
The Facebook page for Innocent Drinks – link – is great because they regularly upload very funny content that usually works around something fruit or veg related, but not always. They’ve got a great sense of humour so if you’re a fan of clicking the share button when it comes to funny pictures you like, this is a page for you.
Next is probably my most favourite page on Facebook, which is the I F*cking Love Science page – link. This is a fantastic page that’s updated several times a day with anything new happening in the world of science, ranging from seriously exciting breakthroughs to silly little experiments. I’m really not selling it but it’s a great page that I love visiting. If you have even a little bit of interest in anything science related then you should definitely visit this page.
Letters of Note is, as it says, a page that uploads images of noteworthy letters – link – ranging from funny to heart-warming, you’ll likely find something appealing on here, and I do love a good letter! The one above is a letter from John Cleese to a 14 year old who wrote to him asking if he had a film club.
Sh*t London is a page that has unfortunately taken a bit of a nosedive recently – link – but I’m optimistic it’ll become great again soon. It’s a page that celebrates all things a bit rubbish or eccentric in London, such as unintentional puns in shop names or weird and wacky characters spotted in our wonderful town.
Last but not least is the seriously cute Animal Rescue Site page, which is a glorious page to visit if you’re an animal fan – link – as they regularly update on successful homing stories, most of which have some sort of heartbreaking back-story. If you’ve had a rubbish day then here’s where to go for a bit of cheering up.
There we have some awesome pages to check-out on Facebook. Have an amazing weekend people, and try not to overheat!
