I really do think that 2015 will be the year when we see Korean beauty have an even bigger influence on new arrivals and releases, and well-deservedly too, since Korean beauty is impressive, innovative, wonderfully presented and packed full of great things that are fun to play with. If all of the above appeals then how about having it all presented in a beautiful pink box of goodies? I’ve posted about Memebox before but just as a refresher, they are a beauty box service where you order individual themed boxes rather than subscribe, where you’ll then receive a box of mostly full-sized products that all fit within a theme, which could be anything that falls under the beauty umbrella. It’s a wonderful service that addresses a lot of issues people tend to have with beauty box subscription services, plus it gives you an amazing introduction to some seriously cool Korean beauty products!
The most recent box I was sent is the Special #42, which contains a great mix of make-up, skincare and body products. My favourite product in the box by far is the Tony Moly Delight Tint Crayon which is a fantastic shade of glossy, bright pink. I was also very excited to see the On The Body Makgeolli Soap which contains lactic acid alongside moisturisers for an exfoliating and hydrating cleanse. Predictably, I was also happy to see a mask in the form of the Tosowoong Platinum Pore Tightening Pack which is a tea tree based mask for general deep cleansing.
For the body, there’s Cleomee Three Layer Perfume Donkey Oil which is three layer moisturiser in spray format. The last inclusion is the Migabee Bee Venom & Honey Cream which smells nice, but I’ve avoided it as I had an allergic reaction to a bee sting when I was a child and I’m never 100% sure whether I’m still allergic to bee venom or not…and I don’t really want to find out! The Memeboxes are absolutely lovely and available in an impressive array of collections; you will inevitably find something you love so go and have a mooch here – link.
