I recently had my first experience of Chantecaille, who appear to be a luxury brand that creates pretty, flattering hues designed to enhance and subtly define, in creamy, buttery formulas that feel and look beautiful on the skin. Obviously this is right up my street as I love these types of ranges and I’m always seeking out products that’ll quietly improve my appearance with ease, so here are three products that I recommend trying if you fancy dipping your toe into the world of Chantecaille.
First up are the Chantecaille Lip Chics, which are basically my ideal lip product as they provide a reasonably intense pigment in a rich, hydrating formula, so you get the best of both worlds. The colour is relatively sheer on first application but builds really easily so that you can start with a touch of colour and work your way up. There are soooo many pretty shades that I can see this becoming a treat product for me whenever I fancy something a bit special. The shades I have are Lily, a salmon pink that leans quite orange and Tuberose, a pink with heavy red overtones. The great thing about these Lip Chics is that they are such a great formula that most shades would suit most people because they can be sheered out to create a touch of colour. Petunia and Primrose are next on my want list – these are £32 each here –link.
The final product is the Chantecaille Cheek Gelee in the shade Happy which I can’t find in stock anywhere, and if you had tried it then you would understand why, as it is the most beautiful, illuminating, complexion-boosting product and shade that I would pick this up the minute I tracked it down if I didn’t have it already!
This is the perfect product for when you want maximum improvement with minimal input; a touch of tinted moisturiser, a slick of mascara and a little bit of this on each cheek will add colour and glow in a natural finish that’s absolutely ideal for the warmer months. It’s £33 and available at Liberty London here – link – where it’ll hopefully come back into stock soon.
