The April 2018 Birchbox is a collaboration with Cath Kidston, so, as you might expect, the box is incredibly pretty. The collaboration is to mark the the 25th birthday of Cath Kidston, which means that on top of a pretty box, the Birchbox April 2018 contents includes a Cath Kidston product too.
Along with the Cath Kidston product, there are three make-up items and a skincare product too, making this a good mix of products that work well within the Cath Kidston theme.
The Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel (in Blonde, Brunette or Black) looks and sounds interesting, although I have the Brunette shade which might be a bit too dark for me – we’ll see! I’ve tried a couple of Lumen products and it’s a brand that interests me, so I’m looking forward to trying the Valo Overnight Bright Sleeping Cream. As mentioned, there’s a Cath Kidston Hand Cream that’s the perfect size for handbags.
The ModelCo Baked Highlighter is very small, which will probably make it a good choice for impending holidays, but it really is tiny! The final product is the Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator, which I think is more of a glow-giving primer rather than a BB Cream in the traditional sense, although I might have got that wrong.
