I’ve finished my brand focussed gift guides so now I have multi-brand guides that I am so excited to show you! I’m kicking off this mini series with a look at some of my favourite showstopper gifts. For me, showstoppers are those gifts that a little bit of wow factor; they don’t need to be expensive, or even necessary large, they just need to be a little more special than you might be expecting.
Beekman 1802 are a new brand to the UK (courtesy of the ever-awesome QVC UK) and they’ve launched with a small selection of mostly body products, as well as a couple of gorgeous sets, one of which is the 8 Piece Goat Milk Bath & Body Collection (£38.98 here – link), which is the most fantastically presented gift that really does provide that aforementioned “wow.”
I’ve seen Ice Globes everywhere on the ‘gram and I think these are the perfect example of a gorgeous gift that’s all about the self-care. The Stylpro Facial Ice Globes (usually £35, currently £26.25 here – link) are affordable, attractive and beautifully presented in a gift box too.
A sunless tanning set is such a great gift for this time of the year when we’re all looking a tad pale! The Skinny Tan Wonder Collection Gift Set (£29.99 here – link) contains everything you need to get your skin glowing (particularly great for beginners) including the new Dry Mist which is like a setting spray for your tan!
I love the Temple Spa as their products are so great for an at-home pamper, so if you’re buying for someone like me, the Spa Retreat Spa Gift Set (£40 here – link) is a lovely little collection of decent sized mini skincare and bath care goodies – basically everything you need for a night of indulgence.
This amazing Potion Paris The Discovery Candle Set (£29.99 here – link) is a real showstopper! It contains seven miniature (30g) candles in a beautiful (and very easy to wrap!) presentation box that’s an ideal choice for anyone who loves candles.
I think most people love a home fragrance gift, but not everyone can/wants to use candles, so enter the Arran After the Rain Room Spray (£20 here – link) which is not only a really pretty room scent, it also comes in a lovely tube container which I think really adds to the luxe feel.
For the tricky to buy for, you can’t go wrong with artisan soap bars really, can you? The Skin Alchemists Festive Soap Bar Set (£10 here – link) contains a trio of Christmassy-scented soaps and it’s a very affordable gift too.
If in doubt, The Sanctuary Spa has got your back! The Sanctuary Spa Favourites Gift Set (£20 here – link) contains a variety of the brand’s best goodies for bath, bed and and body, making it a great choice for a bit of at-home self-care.
The EcoTools Rise and Shine Skincare Kit (£14.96 here – link) is the perfect example of a showstopper set that doesn’t need to cost the earth. This contains all the self-care big names, such as a Gua Sha and a facial roller, alongside three more beauty treats.
Would you just look at this beauty! The Pixi Ultimate Beauty Kit (£20 here – link) is currently available in it’s 6th incarnation, and this one contains 18 face shades and 20 eye shades, so a really fabulous, versatile palette that any makeup lover would be thrilled to receive.
A really lovely fragrance is such a thoughtful gift, and I love Lancome Idole EDP (starting at £50 for 25ml here – link) particularly since they regularly release festive versions of their products, which is what they’ve done this year. This is a beautiful, feminine scent that’s as pretty to look at as it is to smell.
Finally, I cannot recommend the Boujee Bougies range of candles enough and if you are buying for a candle lover, this is the brand you need. They (so far) have a range of five candles that are fun, interesting and definitely a bit different. I’ve been lucky enough to receive all of them and my favourite is currently Hellflower, which is the most wonderfully bright and uplifting scent that’ll add sunshine to any room – I really do love it so much! You can buy any of the Boujee Bougies candles in minis for £25 and full-sized (pictured) for £55. Find the whole range here – link.
