Before Christmas, I was very kindly sent a £20 Superdrug voucher and challenged to see how many presents I could buy for that amount. I don’t actually have a Superdrug in easy access of where I live (the one nearest me is a nightmare for parking) so I wasn’t able to get involved pre-Christmas, but last week I was getting my car MOT-ed near the Harlequin in Watford which not only has an awesome Primark, it has a Superdrug too, so off I went to see what I could get my hands on for £20.
It has to be said, Superdrug stocks some truly fantastic beauty brands and it was easy to get a lot of great quality and wearable goodies for under £20, as you can see in the pictures. The two most expensive products were the set of six mini nail polishes from BeautyUK and the B.Vivid Eyeshadow, the latter of which was a little steep as part of the challenge, but I couldn’t resist the slightly olive-leaning taupe of the shade Nougat! These were £4.99 each, bringing the total up to just under a tenner.
Therefore, everything else in the picture other than those two items cost less than £10 too! The rest of the items were MUA Pro Base Prime and Conceal Powder – £3 – MUA Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde – £1 – MUA Lip Switch in Pink Candy – £3 – Makeup Revolution Blushers in Now! (pink) and Treat (peach) – £1 each – and lastly, Makeup Revolution Lipstick in Chic – £1. The whole lot comes in at £19.98 for 12 products, proving what amazing value can be found for some truly great makeup with just a little bit of a hunt. Everything I got can be found at Superdrug here – link.
