I was recently introduced to the Christophe Robin range of hair care, and I really like it! It’s a great range of products that offers something a bit different, such as hair scrubs, purifying sprays and deep-cleansing masks. The product I’m showing you today is another one that offers a pleasant break from the norm, the Brightening Hair Finishing Lotion with Fruit Vinegar, which is a leave-in, lemon-scented spray with several uses. There are three Finishing Lotions in the range, with the other two being the Purifying and Regenerating, with this one designed to brighten lighter hair.
Firstly, don’t be put off by the mention of fruit vinegar as there is no vinegary smell left on the hair; instead the scent is fresh and fruity. On damp hair you use this in a typical styling spray fashion, but you can also use it on dry hair as a kind of dry shampoo without the dustiness. There’s also a mention of this being used as a perfume, but I’m not too sure about that. This is a particularly handy product for those who often find they wash their hair, dry it, and find patches of greasiness from the get-go, as this really reduces greasiness and oily residues without leaving hair feeling or looking dry. Consequently, hair feels a lot lighter and more bouncy, but without feeling like it contains product. I can’t comment on whether this genuinely brightens hair or not, but it does contain all the right ingredients to make that happen so I can’t see why it wouldn’t. I find the Christophe Robin range really interesting and I look forward to seeing what comes next from the brand.
