T-H-X (Total Hair eXperts) will soon be launching a fairly impressive range of hair styling products exclusively at Tesco on the 1st October 2012.
The range covers all the basics of hair styling and contains a range of ten tools, nine of which will be launching shortly (the other one is a male hair straightener which arrives next year) and the rest of which I’ll run through here. There are six products in the core range and three products in the professional range.
First up, we have the hairdryers, of which there are three:
Pump Up the Volume Diffuser Dryer, RRP £34.94
Power Up 2200W Hairdryer, RRP £19.94
Sleek and Chic AC Dryer, RRP £44.94
Next up are the tongs:
Wave Hello 32mm Wave Tong, RRP £27.94
Hold Tight 19mm Curling Tong, RRP £26.94
Curvaceous Locks Styling Wand, RRP £27.94
Now on to the stylers:
Make It Big Hot Air Styler, RRP £24.94
Mix It Up Styler, RRP £44.94
Lastly there’s also a straightener in the pro range:
Turn Up The Heat Digital Straightener, RRP £59.94
As you can see, the starting range covers pretty much every styling need and is reasonably priced, so if you’re in the need for some new styling tools then they’re definitely worth checking out. I had my hair styled at the event by the very cool Desmond Grundy with the Hold Tight 19mm Curling Tong and here’s the finished look:
Surprisingly (due to my hair type rather than the tools), my curls held right up until I washed them out two days later which virtually never happens on my stubbornly straight hair. Obviously there were products used to keep them in, but when I style my own hair into curls, I can use so much product that the hair feels solid, yet within a few hours I’m usually left with solid, straight hair…
