I am a religious user of the Jumiso Snail Mucin 95 + Peptide Facial Essence; I use it every single day without fail and I make sure I never, ever run out. I have little bottles for travel and big bottles for stock and it is probably my most used skincare product ever, because it is just such an amazing product for boosting hydration, particularly if you have problematic skin. I am a MASSIVE fan of my ZIIP HALO as my skin really is the best it has been for a very long time and I know that a large part of that is down to consistently using my HALO, particularly when it comes to breakouts; so when they announced a device utilising the same technology as the HALO, but tailored specifically to tackling blemishes, I was very excited and thankfully it has not disappointed!
Today Iβm just sharing with you a little demo of how to use it, alongside a heads-up that there is a more detailed introduction on my blog if you fancy a read. Hereβs how you use the DOT to target a specific breakout:
1. Start with clean, dry skin and apply the included Clear Gel to the breakout
2. Turn on the device with a quick press on the power button (long press triggers the longer facial treatment) and line up the electrode behind the ZIIP logo with the breakout
3. Then you do the twist! Move the device clockwise and anticlockwise whilst maintaining contact from both electrodes
4. The first phase (microcurrent) of the treatment lasts 60 seconds then a beep lets you know that the second phase (nanocurrent) has begun which lasts for 30 seconds
5. The device will beep once the treatment is complete, so then you can clean the gel from both your face and the device - I like to use baby wipes
6. Crack on with your usual skincare routine and marvel at how quickly your spots clear!
