Right! I can delay it no longer, I have to start writing about Christmas and all the joy it brings (literally and musically) and today I’m kicking things properly off with a glorious gift from Murad. Murad have a fantastic Christmas offering this year, with some really well thought out sets that are not only presented in a Christmassy box, they also provide some pretty mega savings, so great if you fancy treating yourself or stocking up on favourites.
I was sent the Joyful and Rejuvenated set (there’s Joyful and Renewed, Joyful and Radiant and Ultimate Skin Perfectors) which I was very happy to receive as it contains three great products, two of which are my favourites from the brand. You get a cleanser, a treatment and a hydrator, so this is a great starter set for “new year, new skin” intentions, especially as the products included really are fantastic.
You get two full-sized products and one half-sized, starting with the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser which is *amazing* and lasts forever – I still use this regularly and I’m still on my first ever bottle, although it is starting to look a bit old and knackered now! The treatment is the Rapid Collagen Infusion which is the 15ml half sized product, that’s dinky, but more than enough to establish whether your skin is a fan or not (mine is) and the final product is the beautiful Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture.
The Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture is a rich, creamy moisturiser that feels like it’s going to leave a buttery film on the skin, but it’s actually very light and fast-absorbing once worked into the skin, making it a particularly lovely product for dehydrated or sensitive skin as it’s lush and moisture-boosting. I really think the Murad sets are lovely this year and I would be excited to receive any of them.
