I know how popular the Soap & Glory gift sets are, especially the amazing Boots Star Gifts which always come with a really decent saving, but I didn’t realise just how much of a buzz they created until I saw them mentioned on the MSE show on ITV yesterday! Thankfully, with that in mind, Boots tend to order a generous stock so that everyone can get in on the action, which is great. This year the Boots Star Gift on Black Friday is the Soap & Glory Glitz and Make Up Gift Set, which is a true corker of a set.
There are eight products in total in the set, the majority of which focus on the eyes, plus two lip products and one face product. The palette is the Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Palette, which contains an edit of six, mostly warm and fabulously autumnal shades. I love the fact that Soap & Glory always include some of their star products in these sets, such as the Supercat Liquid Black Eyeliner, which is renowned as one of the easiest-to-use liquid liners available on the high street, as well as the Thick & Fast High Definition Collagen Coat Mascara in Black, which has a solid reputation as being a really good mascara. The other two eye products are the Crazy, Sexy, Kohl Twist-Up Eyeliner in Smoulder and the Archery Brow Sculpting Crayon & Setting Gel in Brown.
The final three products start with the Love at First Blush Multi-Shade Blushing Powder (what a fabulous name!) which is so pretty, and contains a lovely collection of flattering shades for lifting the complexion. The two lip products include the slightly scary-looking Spectaculips Matte-Allic in Gold Dust (not my sort of colour at all, but quite an interesting product nonetheless) and Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss in Candy Queen, a suits-all nude. What a great set! Normally priced at £50, as it’s a Boots Star Gift it’s currently just £25, which is fantastic value for all of those awesome products.
